Explore the world one bite at a time! This week, participants will discover new flavours, try simple recipes, and build confidence in the kitchen while learning about cultures from around the world.
From hands-on cooking to music, games, and themed activities, each day offers a fun and engaging way to experience something new. Along the way, participants will build independence, teamwork, and confidence—both in the kitchen and beyond!

YEP is an interactive and engaging summer program for youth ages 13 – 25. YEP is not a Summer Camp.
We focus on the exploration of community resources, and will use the GRT and walking as primary modes of transportation. Each day, the group travels throughout Waterloo Region to a variety of social, recreation, leisure, and work/volunteer learning activities. Our objective is to build important skills that will help youth to be successful in their personal, school and work lives.

Please note: YEP is a physically active program. Events are planned with all ages in mind, and when required, smaller groups are created to consider bringing youth who are closer in age together.
Please note: All of our Instructors receive First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training as well as course specific training including Safe Food Handling, Mental Health First Aid, Clear Language and other trainings where required.
